White floating shelves are barn wood in a color and functional design. The brushed lamel is covered with white acrylic enamel with the effect of aged paint. Through the white coating, the noble pattern of an old wood stands out vividly, the relief lines of life created by nature and time, traces of knots and nails.

The reclaimed wood shelves are light and at the same time strong. It will withstand serious loads, temperature and humidity changes. Therefore, it will perfectly act as bathroom wooden shelves  not only in color, but also in quality characteristics.

The packaging of the shelves has everything you need for installation. A reliable steel bracket is easy to hide, thanks to the design of the shelves. The texture and monochrome of the products opens up freedom for creativity in the design. In one package you have a set of 2 shelves and steel fasteners.

INSTALLATION PROCESS
  1. Before installation, the planks should be stored for at least 2 days in a room where it will be installed to bring the humidity of the wood in balance with the humidity of the surrounding air. At the same time, the room should have a constant humidity, so finishing works that affect its humidity should not be carried out.
  2. Storage of the planks should be carried out at normal room humidity in a dry area, followed by compliance with the rules of paragraph 1. Short-term storage of the planks outdoors is allowed. When stored outdoors, the humidity of the surrounding air should not exceed 15 %.
  3. If any of the planks are planned to be installed closer than 30 inches from the heating devices, before installation the items should be stored for at least 2 days near these devices.
  4. The planks do not have any additional treatment, so in order to avoid rotting, fungi and mold it is not recommended to use the planks in areas with high humidity (bathrooms, showers). It is strongly not recommended to use the planks in saunas, in places where steam and water may hit the board because it can cause deformation of the planks. When installing the board in such rooms it is necessary to treat the board with moisture-proof coatings on all sides.
  5. Since the board has roughness and burrs and can leave splinters, care is required when contacting it.
  6. The most optimal method of installation, which saves time and ensures reliable quality, is gluing and fixing with finishing nails. The video instructions are available on the manufacturer's website.

Is it 100% real reclaimed wood?

It absolutely is. We dismantle old barns in the heart of Siberia, and the wood is approximately 30-50 years old.

Does it crack or break while delivery?

Sometimes, when the delivery men are not attentive enough to our wood. However, we do our best to control all phases of our service and deliver our wood safe and sound.

Do you treat the wood with chemicals?

No, we don’t. We believe that the real wood doesn’t require anything to highlight its beauty. So, no oils, no artificially aging paints, no chemicals, no other dangerous treatments etc. The only thing that we do is antiseptic treatment because we know that nowadays it’s important.

Why is your wood so texturous?

Because it was in Siberia - in a region with absolutely unique weather conditions. The winters are terribly cold and snowy, the summers are extremely sunny and dry. In such conditions the wood is aging during 3-5 decades or even more. That’s why our wood has the best, deepest and most luxurious texture on the market.

Does every plank have the same pattern and color?

No, every our board is a unique work of Siberian art. Even if you order only Sunburnt Amber or Siberian Silver finish, you get the pack where every plank has its own story to tell, and all of them also have their own “skin shade” within one color.
